#1
Type : Station
Line : North Coast Line
Distance from Sydney : 601.794km
Opened : Station, 13 August 1917, siding 1913 (before the line opened)
Closed : June 1946 (station) 1920 (siding)
Status : Closed
Name meaning : After the nearby creek
Notes: The Up timber platform was 30.4 metres in length. Nondaville/Hendaville alternate naming (for the siding). CHT operated a second siding on the North Coast line; known to some as Hendaville to others as Nondaville, it predated Boambee Station by two years. The siding
remained in operation until 1920. Nondaville was the junction for an 8km long 914mm or 3ft gauge line serving a sawmill located in the area of England's Road.
CHT had planned to run the tramway from Boambee Mill to the jetty district but this plan was revised after the announcement of the North Coast Railway.
Delays with obtaining rails frustrated CHT who had to transship their timber from the end of their tramway at Maharatta to the port of Coffs Harbour until the delays on Coffs Harbour to Raleigh section were overcome.
