Name meaning : Aboriginal word for "place of the (non-returning) boomerang"
Notes : Upper Burringbar was provided with a waiting shed and siding and a gantry crane was added in 1904. Location was moved 37.7 metres probably after 1923 when the 12.1 metre Down platform was built. Goods siding removed 9/9/1964.
