Name meaning : Aboriginal word meaning "bunyip in the water"
Notes : Down side timber platform was 78.9 metres in length. The town it serviced was 4k to the east. 13/11/1909 - loop siding laid in. 1919 - 20/5/1974 abolished siding - Gunthorpe's Brick siding (the brickworks remains still stand) - 385' dead end siding. 26/11/1975 - station building demolished. 27/7/1979 - platform demolished. A siding existed at the station, this was abolished 14/07/1974.
