Name meaning : Named after the cedars which once grew in the vicinity
Notes : A 76.2 metre platform on the Up side reduced to 46.93 metres in 1930. Station building was a B2 standard. It served the tiny village of the same name located nearby. The location had a dead end short siding on the Down side that appears to have been installed 14/10/1927 as a loop siding and shortened on 18/3/1941 and removed by 2/5/1960. A gantry crane and a goods platform were located on the siding. A residence was situated on the other side of the main line to the siding. A cream shed was on the Down end of the platform.

Cedar Point - location of the one time station.

The town is to the west of the location and comprises around a dozen houses scattered around the area.

In 1918 timber in fairly large quantities was being loaded at the station and a request was made to put a trucking yard at the station, along with a timber gantry.
