I was sent this pic of Dungog in an email many years ago from a friend who passed away not long after he sent the email, so there are no other details about where it came from & all that was said, found on net & thought you might like it

Not railroad but railroad related this was the last coach from Maitland to Dungog (it ran on the day that Dungog station opened). Just a small example of how things keep on changing over time (Maitland Library)

"On my journeys on the North Coast line as a youth in the 1970s I was always intrigued by Dungog station. With its art deco styling and island platform it seemed rather exotic when compared with other stations along the line. It's a much quieter location today, with minimal staffing hours and considerably less trains than was the case 50 years ago. I've enjoyed 'reconnecting' with Dungog after many years of not being in this area and it's nice to see the station building has survived with only some cosmetic changes to reflect the current corporate arrangement"
