This old ledger was used to record timber loads sent from the following stations and sidings - Colombatti, Eungai, Herons Creek, Kempsey, Kendall, Kundabung, Lansdowne, Macksville, Melinga, Mt George, Pembroke, Taree, Telegraph Point, Urunga, Wauchope & Wingham. The period covered is from 1/36 to 1/41. Details include the order date, consignee, order number, classification (ie sizes of the timber & poles), quantity, dispatch date, truck number (ie: the type and number of the railway wagon used, S6429, D3639, BBE2719 etc) & remarks. The consignees are always railway or tramway locations ie: Tram Store Wolli Creek, Per Way Store Clyde, Dist Store Newcastle, Ganger Watson Albury & many more.
