Name meaning : Aboriginal word meaning "damp gully"
Notes : The original down side platform was 76.2 metres and a had a waiting room, ladies waiting room and store. The new platform is remarkable due to very intricate ramp that is far larger than the platform itself. 1914 - residence for night officer built. 14/5/1914 central interlocked crossing loop installed. 15/5/1915 station master's residence built. 12/10/80 goods shed removed. May 1986 SM residence demolished.
