Name meaning : An Aboriginal word meaning "elbow"
Notes : A goods siding, off the loop line, was opened on the 5th of April, 1939. The station opened with a 457 metre interlocked loop. The 76.2 metre Up platform had a timber building with station master's office, Out-of room, general and ladies waiting rooms and a men's toilet. The site had a goods shed and a 10 tonne yard crane, this was removed by 1961. The nearest town (Coopernook) was around 4km away.
