Name meaning : Named after the nearby creek of the same name
Notes : Notable for being the first station built in NSW of the AC2+ concrete pre-cast type, it had a general waiting room and out-of room. The original timber Up platform was built to the standard NCL length of 76.2 metres, later reduced to 39.6 metres. A ladies toilet was added 30/6/1922.
