Opened 10.10.1945 as a platform for school children, closed
4.5.1975 Weekly Notice #39/73?.
Line opened from Macksville to Urunga 3.12.1923 single track, construction from
Macksville to Coff s Harbour carried out by the Public Works Department from
8.3.1912, contract taken over by Messrs Norton Griffiths Ltd on 24.4.1915, and
cancelled on 14.5.1917 when the work was resumed by the Public Works
Department Railway Section.
Named after T.C.Peterkins whose land was on the eastern side of the line.
The 7.3m timber platform was on the Down side. #21 and #34 passenger trains were
timed to stop at this station.
