Name meaning :  from a type of rainforest tree (formerly) endemic to the area
Notes : The junction was originally to face trains from Murwillumbah but was reversed during construction.

This short stretch of embankment, pictured looking away from the Casino-Murwillumbah line, bends around to the right in the distance. It offers a good indication of where Booyong Junction was located.
