Geoff Bensley
December 2015 - Byron Beach Station is now located on right hand side of photo. Looking DOWN the line towards Murwillumbah. Lawson/Shirley St level crossing is behind me .
Shirley St was originally straight and went all the way to Fletcher St until the railway line cut it in half back in 1893 , the eastern end got renamed Lawson St
